Fix It Kit

I built this kit to make keeping natural remedies on hand easy when common injuries occur. It includes 4 different salves to help sooth and treat the body. I also included all natural, non-toxic bug repellent to help prevent needing the salves :) each item is packaged in containers that travel well and are easily used while on the go! This would be ideal to keep in your vehicle, go bag, hiking, or even just around the house. These products have zero added chemicals or preservatives so they will last you 6 months. Also, tallow based salves are heat sensitive. The integrity of the salve will still be good but the texture may change if exposed to temperatures greater than 90 degrees for any prolonged amount of time. Store away from direct sunlight.

Bug Repellent 1oz -shake well and apply generously to exposed skin. Reapply every few hours as needed.

Drawing Salve 0.5oz (black tin)- used to pull/ reduce splinters, stingers, bites, exposure to poison oak, ingrown nails/ hair, and other skin irritants. Apply thick layer to area of irritation. Use for a minimum of 10 min and up to 24 hours. Reapply as needed. Cover site, as this product will stain clothing and carpet.

After Sun Salve 0.5oz (blue tin)- use generously to burned skin. If able to place salve is a cool environment for 15 min, the peppermint in the salve will have a wonderful cooling effect. Will reduce pain associated with burns/sunburns. Safe to use on 1st and 2nd degree burns. Reapply as needed to treat pain and improve healing.

Bite Aid 0.5oz (green tin)- Works best if applied at least 20 min after drawing salve if bite is being treated immediately. Works well on all insect bites/ stings including but not limited to… wasp bites, bee stings, and discomfort/ itching related to mosquito bites. Apply generously to all types of insect bites. Reapply as needed to reduce symptoms.

Pain Relief 0.5oz (silver tin)- apply generously to areas of pain associated with muscle, joint, inflammation, or sprains. Pain will reduce about 10 min after application. If safe to do so, exposing area after application to heat will add to its therapeutic effect. Salve contains capsaicin which will help draw heat into the joint or area of pain and encourage healing. This product is also anti microbial. Use topically to treat wounds and decrease risk of infections. Reapply as needed to treat symptoms.
