Magnesium Oil Spray

This topical product contains Magnesium Chloride, Chamomile, and Lavender. Its base is purified water and extra virgin olive oil (carrier oil for chamomile and lavender). This is a wonderfully pure product that will help with muscle spasms, cramps, and pain. Magnesium is also known to help alleviate joint discomfort, as well. Simply shake well and apply directly to areas of pain. Apply to closed skin only. Do not spray directly on open wounds. 

Magnesium is also calming. It is quick to ease anxiety and bring relaxation . Many people report improved sleep when using magnesium. Spraying magnesium on areas of thinner skin (backs of hands and feet where we have less fatty tissue) will help it absorb quickly. Always shake Magnesium oil well before applying. 

Facts about Magnesium Oil… it’s not an oil at all! :) it’s actually a ‘brine.’ Magnesium is NOT oil soluble. It is in fact water soluble! So we don’t infuse oil with magnesium. In the herbal world, it is still referred to as an oil. If you hold the magnesium oil spray bottle up to the light, you can see it naturally separate when it is at rest. Nevertheless, this is why it is important to shake the product well before application. This way the Chamomile and Lavender oil suspend and distribute throughout the bottle, making the effects of the spray even better. Synergy with these three properties are amazing.

Also! Topical magnesium CAN make you itch. Some people with sensitive skin (or low magnesium levels) struggle with this. If this occurs for you, I recommend putting it on about 20 minutes BEFORE a shower or bath. This way, the magnesium has a chance to absorb and you can simply wash away whatever is left topically and the itching will disappear. The other way to reduce ‘magnesium itch’ is to put it in a carrier or dilute it a bit. Applying tallow with the spray or something else of your choosing will help it not be so concentrated. If ever you develop redness or hives, this is NOT normal and you should discontinue use.
